Action Taken Report as Per G.B. Agenda Since 2020-2025
No major decision was taken between March 2020 to August 2021 due to Covid Pandemic situation hence, no action could be taken.
G.B. dated 12-08-2021: Vide resolution no. 4 College Development (CD) Fund of rupee 598221 and rupee 150606 a Total of 748827 were spend for G.U. Zone Evaluation Room.
G.B. dated 28-12-2021:
Vide resolution no.1 it was decided to invite NAAC 3rd Cycle Assessment and for this Fee amounting to Rupees 29500 was deposited.
Vide resolution no. 4 Green Energy Initiative, Grid conversion amounted rupee 218000 by selling battery and rest rupee 68000 from GB Approval.
Vide resolution no. 6 for GB Approved introduction of Add-on-courses with effect from 2021-22 Academic Session.
GB DATED 21-03-2022:
Vide resolution no.8 it was adopted to invite for Affiliation Inspection of self-financing Commerce Department 2nd Year and 3rd Year which was pending since 2019.
Vide resolution no. 9(VI) An enquiry for allegedly issuing PGDCA Certificates in 2018 to some students came up. Police investigated was instituted on 14-03-2022 and college authority intimated with documentary evidence that there was no PGDCA level Courses at Dhing college under IDOL-GU centre.

Vide resolution no.1 Rupee 1,74,064 was allotted for face lift of college.
Vide resolution no.2 SSR Submission period expired as the NAAC Portal was reported to be closed by then IQAC Coordinator Dr. Manoj Kr. Saikia.
Vide resolution no. 3(IV) Approval on clearance on pending Municipal taxes amounting to rupees 2,04,926 Rupees (2010-2022).
Vide resolution no. 9(II) Discussion on submission of SSR Cycle 3. The Principal is authorised to complete P.G. Inspection of 04 departments by the University Authority.

Vide resolution no. 3 (a) Resolved to take measures for inviting NAAC team for Cycle 3 assessment which could not be carried out due to Covid pandemic situation since 2021. Approval of 798028 for NAAC Visit.
Vide resolution no.10 GB Offered thanks to Dr. Biman Hazarika, Principal, Dhing College, Dr. Purnima Das Bora, Associate Prof. Bimal Das, eminent businessman and Alumni for their personal financial contribution amounting to Rs 1,20,000, Rs 50,000 and Rs 2,00,000 respectively for construction of Archive-cum-Museum, installation of a Yoga Centre in Indoor stadium and construction of the College Main Gate at a cost of Rs 6,00,000 in 2016.

Vide resolution no.1 Opening of PG Departments in College subject to student and infrastructure availability.
Vide resolution no.4 IQAC was newly constituted.
Vide resolution no.5 Rupees 26,11,210 was approved for Expenditure incurred in NAAC peer team visit related activities.
Vide resolution no.6 A construction committee with an appointment of a civil engineer PwD Lok Nirman Vibagh reconstituted which was approved for the period 01-04-2023 to 2026.
Vide resolution no.7 the G.B acknowledged the Receipt of compensation of Rs 22 lakhs for dismantling and construction of the college main gate and boundary wall.
GB DATED 01-06-2023:
Vide resolution no.1 Swayam and MOOC courses were approved for FYUGP students.
Vide resolution no.3 New IQAC Committee gets G.B Approval.
Vide resolution no.7: A Grade III employee of the college over stayed since January 2019 to May 2023. This matter came to light in April 2023 as the employee deceived the college authority by submitting two different dates of birth documents and some incrementing document in support of his continuation in service. (01-03-1968 and 31-01-1959) and he was released on 06-05-2023 with the order letter of DHE Assam. GB requested to DHE Assam to regularise his overstayed period of service from 31-01-2019 to 06-05-23.
Vide resolution no. 5: Tender issued for construction of the College Main Gate and boundary wall.

Vide resolution no.1: New P.G. classes (4) through KKHSOU vocational course and PMKVY 4.0 were approved as per recommendation of the NAAC Peer team.
Vide resolution no.2: MOU with AMTRON Assam Ltd. and team Lease for providing training to FYUGP Students during winter break, Dec 2024 was approved CLICK HERE
Vide resolution no.8: the Principal apprised that DBT Star College balance amounting to Rs 81,99,960 and For Biotech Hub 39,90,030 for 4 departments will be received soon.
GB DATED 01-03-2024:
Vide resolution no.4 Completion of a Science Building room to accommodate additional students with an amount of Rs. 9 Lakh under the supervision of Construction Committee.
Vide resolution no. 6: It is informed that DBT Star college received Rs. 53,99,996 and Advance level Biotech hub Rs. 21,10,960 as balanced.
Vide resolution no.7: Dissolved the Commerce Stream Management Committee on 01-03-2024 and functioning of the stream is entrusted to G.B, Dhing College and attached the fund to College General Fund.
Vide resolution no. 9: GB advised to fulfil and implement AAA Recommendations of 2021 and NAAC Recommendations of 2023.
Vide resolution no.18(b): All pending Audit works to be completed (AAA, Green Audit, Energy Audit, CA Audit etc.) within March 2025.
GB Dated 31-08-2024:
Vide resolution no.3: An amount of Rs.5 Lakhs additional amount required for completion of College Main Gate and Boundary wall (beautification) from CD Fund.
Vide resolution no.4: Dhing College Roster notification and Register is approved on 14-08-2024 vide 36246/2024/17. Approved posts are Asst Prof 47 and Sr. Asst 02, Jr. Asst 04, Grade 4 -14 vide concerned Memo no ECF536246/2024/17-A. Also, GB Approved appointment of 6 teaching and 2 Grade 4 posts.
Vide resolution no. 05: It is resolved to take initiative for NIRF data filing.
Vide resolution no. 5(a): AIHSE mandatory work to be completed. IDP of Dhing College approved with effect from 2024 to 2029 as per UGC Guidelines and a Committee for implementing the same was approved.
Vide resolution no.5(b): CAS Promotion of 12 teaching and 1 non teaching employee of college was granted vide letter no DHE/PA/Misc/Pt-1/99(i) dated 29 Jan, 2024. One CAS Promotion proposal was sent for post-retirement approval in May 2025.
Vide resolution no. 5(c): Implementation of Pension Scheme has been going on. One Associate Prof and One grade 4 employee received pension approval on the date of their superannuation.
Vide resolution no. 8: Commerce stream provincialisation process to be speed up after completion of the affiliation inspection which was completed on 27-01-2024.
Vide resolution no. 9: Purchase of all items through GEM Portal has been started from Dec, 2024.
G.B. Dated 17-05-2025:
G.B. suggested to President to forward the filled up performance appraisal report of the term Principal to DHE, Assam which is expiring on 26-08-2025 after scrutiny and recommendation of the duly filled up (Performa Mandatory and Score based Parameters) as per Govt. O.M. E-File No. 601584/254 dtd 13-05-2025 and E.com. No. 434268/1 dtd 12-05-2025. If time constraints, the signed copy of G. B. Resolution (By Circulation) will be sent with the approval of all members (requisite).
Vide resolution no. 07 (c): It is decided to introduce H.S Commerce Stream from current academic session and Principal is entrusted to expedite the matter intimating with the ASSEB. As per Memo No- ASSEB/DIV-II/R&P/NAG/C/1703/2102 dated 04/06/2025, ASSEB granted the permission of provisional registration and affiliation to start additional Commerce Stream.
